- Wrong. You have given the Rockwell chipset command, he is asking about USR's.
- AFAIK, USR modems always report DCE, never DTE.

- Furthermore, a command which only modifies NVRAM is of doubtful value, since
- many (most?) programs default to starting from a known value, rather than
- depending on whatever some flake may have in his NVRAM. Win95 (not an
- endorsement) is one example.
